Vocational Orientation

Vocational Orientation

For us, careers guidance at school means helping pupils to find out which professions suit them. This is important so that they can make a good decision about their career path later on.

Careers guidance at school helps pupils to discover their own strengths and interests. Through various occupational fields (these are, for example: Construction, services, electrical engineering, health, IT, media, natural sciences, business and administration and a few others), pupils get to know a wide variety of professions so that they can better assess what they might enjoy and where their talents lie.

It is also important for us that students recognize their own goals and aspirations for the future. Through career guidance, they can better understand which vocational training or course of study suits them.

Career orientation also offers the opportunity to gain practical experience. For example, pupils can get a taste of companies or do internships. This helps them to get to know the world of work better and see what it is like in different professions.
