German as a target language

Initial support: Beginners in German language acquisition

Our SFK language support class offers students a supportive and motivating learning environment in which they can feel comfortable and in good hands. With a comprehensive learning plan of twelve hours of German per week as well as a wide range of other subjects such as English, mathematics, science, art and politics for language learners, we enable our students to develop their full potential.

We believe that education is the key to success, which is why we attach great importance to providing each student with individual support and encouragement. Our dedicated teachers are there to support students and help them to continuously improve their language skills.

Our language support class is not just about learning language, but also about developing a deeper understanding of the world around us. We encourage our students to be curious, ask questions and think critically so that they grow up to be confident and responsible individuals.

Follow-up support: advanced language learners in mainstream classes

In our German as a target language (DaZ) afternoon classes, we offer our students additional support and deepen their German language skills. Our dedicated teachers work closely with students to develop their language skills and guide them on their path to language confidence. Afternoon classes offer a relaxed atmosphere where students work in a small group and receive individual attention. Through targeted exercises and activities, we promote listening comprehension, speaking skills, reading comprehension and writing. Our aim is to give pupils the

to give them the confidence and skills they need to communicate successfully in a German-speaking environment. The common goal is to achieve the highest possible educational language level in the B1 range of the European Language Reference Framework.
